Theme "Crisis of Faith"

Test 1: (Worth 2)
	You feel the boney claws rip deeply into your flesh.  Blood spurts from your mouth as you feel the warmth leaving your body.  All goes dark.  You feel yourself being pulled upwards.  Your vision returns to see clouds as far as the eye can see.  You turn to see a giant golden gate, adorned with pearls.  The gate swings wide and a brilliant light shines forth.  You feel an urge to enter the gates.

	You enter the gates and the light fades to reveal a frozen barren wasteland.  The wind blows unrelentingly, biting clear to the bone.  The screams and moans of the damned are carried by the storm.

	A booming voice says "You have chosen."  The clouds below you part and you fall back through the ground and descend.  You finally come stop to find yourself in a frozen barren wasteland.  The wind blows unrelentingly biting to the bone.  The screams and moans of the damned are carried by the storm.

Test 2: (worth 2)
	Standing around you, are 6 people, [3 men {1 boy, 1 ugly man, and 1 old man}, 3 women {1 attractive woman, 1 girl, 1 old woman}]  Their near-skeletal faces convey a hopelessness unparalelled.  They are standing, shivering helplessly in the cold.  They say they are hungry but there is no food.  They are frozen to the bone but the wind never stops.  They've given up hope.  They pray for death, but it will not come.  They look to you as the old man hands you an ivory handled pistol, a colt lightning.  There is only one round left.

	You carefully aim the gun and pull the trigger.  The hammer falls, but it does not fire.  It is too cold.  The people start crying "All is lost!  He will not help us!  He condemns us to this frozen eternity!"  As the blizzard intensifies, the snow quickly piles up around the 6 people until they can no longer be seen.  The wind stops, the clouds part and the sun shines brightly and warmly.  The snow melts away.  The piles of snow that covered the people quickly evaporate away to nothing.

	The people start crying "All is lost!  He will not help us!  He condemns us to this frozen eternity!"  The figures sorrow causes them to sink into the snow and disappear.  You are alone.  The blizzard intensifies and the snow quickly piles up around you until you can barely see.  Suddenly, the wind stops, the clouds part and the sun shines brightly and warmly.  The snow quickly melts away.  The pile of snow that covered you melts away to nothing.

Test  3: (worth 2)
	You walk into a meadow filled with chirping birds and flowers, and a bubbling stream.  You see 6 children dancing around in a circle. At a glance they appear malnourished, almost skin over bone.  They are singing softly "Jesus loves the little children"  You watch for  moment when suddenly there's a flash of light from above.  An angel has appeared in the center of the childrens circle.  He stands with wings unfurled and his hands held out.  The children are awestruck. >>>>>>>>>>> (If he attempts to warn or help the children, manitou 1) 
	The angel draws a sword from behind him.  The sword bursts into flames.  He draws to strike, and in a swift motion all but one child lie dead in a pool of blood.  A angel was a demon in disguise.  He turns on the one survivor.  The last child runs in terror toward you.  He stands at your feet and looks up into your eyes.  He says "Who will protect me?"

	The child looks relieved and turns to face his attacker.  The demon grows larger and bellows "There is no God!"  He throws his flaming sword, splitting the childs skull in two.  His laughter echoes as he fades away.!

	The child looks relieved and takes cover behind you.  The demon advances grinning wickedly.  Realizing you are completely unarmed, He levels his sword at your throat.  (roll quickness.  Mock combat, any miracles fail, any attacks do nothing, his flamming sword always hits and does a ton of damage each hit.)  With the final strike he thrusts the sword deep into your chest.  Your senses fade away, but you hear his final words "There is no god!"  

Test  4: (worth 2)
You wake up to find that all the plants of the meadow are dead and rotted away.  The stream is dry, no birds are singing, but there is no sign of the demon.  The bodies of the children remain where they fell.  You hear an organ playing a haunting melody in the distance.

Test 5: (worth 2)
	You are drawn toward the organ music.  As it draws nearer, your clothes change to black robes.  Your hands become stained with blood, your bible turns into an evil twisted knife.  You walk into a circle of hooded men, chanting in an infernal language.  They bow to you as you enter.  In the center is an altar.  Tied to the alter is a beautiful young woman that you knew in your youth.  She is bound and gagged, with tears rolling down her cheeks.  You look up from her and see an immense figure appear from the darkness.  He is red, with cloven hoves, horns, a barbed tail, and large bat-like wings.  Every fiber of your being tells you, that you are standing before Satan himself.  He looks at you and raises a hand.  He speaks "High-priest, you have brought forth a fitting sacrifice to my glory.  I am pleased.  Now offer up her soul to me to prove your faith!"  An unseen force grasps the dagger with both hands and lifts it high above your head.

	Her scream echoes as you see her soul torn to shreds by waiting demons.  The devil smiles and says "Yes, you will do nicely."

Alternate test (worth 1 Plus 2 possible bonus points)
The devil screams with rage at your refusal, the hooded figures pull off their cloaks revealing putrid demons of all shapes and sizes.  They multiply rapidly and then there are millions of them forming two great walls on each side of you.  They all hold wicked and painful looking weapons.  They do not advance, instead the devil draws a vicious looking saber dripping with blood.  He grows bigger with each step forward.  The shadow of death approaches.

	The devil face betrays his suprise at hearing the lords prayer.  He grows angry and screams "Your god will not help you!" as he thrusts the sword into your chest and your very soul screams out in agony.  It is a sound that will forever haunt you.  All goes dark.
